
Tomorrow 5/6th volleyball @parkview will play 2 matches.

We were notified by Road Commissioner, Brad Mathre that Whitfield Road in Millbrook will be closed by the railroad tracks on Friday, October 7 6 am. It will reopen on Saturday, October 8 at 6 am.

There will be no soccer B game @ Earlville today.

Thank you to the Newark Fire Department and Kendall County Sheriff for staying on scence with us until the gas company arrived. We are still not detecting any leaks. We are checking our HVAC system. Students and staff are safe and continuing their normal day.

Fire department still on school site. There is no threat to students. Still trying to find the source of the smell. We are waiting for Nicor. Students and staff are safe.

We are investigating a gas smell at Newark Grade School in one classroom. We will keep you posted.

Happy Fall! We recess outside in the am. Please have students dress in layers. Some littles were chilled this morning. School Store tomorrow at both schools during lunch/recess times. .25cents to 2.00 is plenty to purchase any items. Have a great evening!

Wednesday September 21 soccer and volleyball games have been changed to 4:45pm start times. There will be no B game for soccer due to the late start. Bus will leave MJH at 4:05.

School Store - This Friday, September 23rd @ NGS and MJH. Students can purchase during their lunch hours. Price range from $.25 - $2.00

Scholastic Book Fair is over and it was a HUGE success. Total sales were over $5,000 and Mrs. Schultz is able to purchase $2,500 worth of books to add to both schools library collection. A big Thank You to Amber Schmitt for organizing this event and to all the volunteers who came out to help each day! We appreciate you!

We also ask that you bring the following donation
5/6th Volleyball - Bag of ice and a cooler if you have one.
5/6th Soccer - Case of water.
7/8th Soccer - Box or bag of 1oz bags of chips.
